Top presidential contenders, Raila, Ruto and OKA principals, have been traversing different parts of the country with an intention of popularizing their candidature. With just about eight months remaining to the D- Day, every politician in Kenya is busy campaigning for their presidential bids.
Today, former Prime Minister honorable Raila Odinga was heartily received in Makueni County accompanied by the three Ukambani Governors, and senior politicians. During his planned tour, the ODM Party leader, Chief opposition leader, will meet delegates from three counties of the Ukambani region.
In addition to that, Former Prime Minister honorable Raila Odinga will launch his Ukambani Azimio La Umoja charter. Additionally, he will address the delegates before heading to Wote town where he is expected to address a mega rally. Thereafter in the afternoon, he will address another rally in Emali town.
Baba Raila is accompanied by several Ukambani leaders, and senior ODM leaders. These leaders includes the Makueni County Governor honorable Kivutha Kibwana, Makueni County Deputy Governor Adelina Mwau, Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua, Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu, Machakos County Deputy Governor Francis Maliti, Siaya County Senator James Orengo, and the ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna.
This region where Raila Odinga is storming is perceived to be under the arms of the Wiper Party Leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, as he has a hand of God in the said region. Former Vice President, honorable Kalonzo Musyoka, enjoys massive support, and influence in this region, Ukambani.
