Raila Odinga has received a huge boost ahead of August polls after thousands of residents turned up for his event in Ndanai constituency in Bomet County. Raila Odinga is accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua, COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli, Governor of Elgeyo Markwet Alex Tolgos, Governor of Kakamega County Oparanya, KANU Chairman Nick Salat, and various ODM leaders from Bomet county.
Raila Odinga has promised that he will protect the government if elected in the August polls and he will ensure that he seal all the loopholes that are being used to steal from the government. He further declared that the vul CTnarable families will get Ksh 6000 and refuted the allegations that are being purported by other leaders.
" Elfu sita inakuja mkinipigia kura. Mimi nitalinda serikali na nitahakikisha kuwa nimeziba mianya ambayo watu wanatumia kuiba kutoka kwa serikali, " Raila Odinga said.
However, things might change ahead of the August polls and Raila Odinga might receive votes from Ruto's backyard. Chama cha Mashinani party leader Isaac Ruto did not turn up for the event despite the allegations that he is in the Azimio coalition and he was busy holding a political rally in Siongiroi.
