The United States have sent a warning to the Kenya Airforce regarding the attacks that the Alshabaab might be planning to conduct in it's airspace. This comes after the Alshabaab attack at Manda where the Kenya army together with the Us army are based as that try to fight the Militants. They have advised the Kenyan Airforce to normalize using the longest route through Adis Ababa even though it will involve the use if more fuel and it also take longer time.
They have done their research and have realised that the Alshabaab militants are interested in attacking planes in the air which includes those heading to the Middle East and those carrying civilians and the military. They really want Kenyans to take this warning seriously because the Militants does not seem to quit anytime soon.
The US have also recognized the good work that the Kenyan Army is doing especially in the areas which border Somalia. Blocking the entry points and enforcing enough security in the areas is not an easy task but the Kenya army have remained loyal. The Alshabaab have been said to be having almost everything that they need to attack planes in the air. They are said to have not been wanting to only attack those heading to Somalia but also this coming to Kenya .
