Didmus Barasa, the current Kimilili Mp congratulates himself For Retaining the seat while on Exile

Didmus Barasa, the current member of parliament for Kimilili, has come under fire after congratulating himself on his victory.

In the just completed elections, Barasa, who has been missing for the previous three days due to murder suspicions, received 26,861 votes to keep his position. The MP defeated Brian Khaemba of the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-Kenya), who received 9,497 votes, in the race on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) platform.

The politician thanked his constituents on Facebook for giving him another chance to represent them.

"Thank you the great people of Kimilili Constituency for re-electing me overwhelmingly for another term. I love you to BITS," said Malala.

During the incident , the deceased met Didmus when as he enter the aforementioned polling place, and after a little while, he exited to get into his automobile. It further states that Joshua Nasokho, Khaemba's driver, disobeyed the command and started the car. At this point, Didmus pulled out a gun, pointed it at Brian Olunga, Khaemba's assistant, and shot him in the forehead. Olunga began to bleed heavily and was taken urgently to Kimilili Sub-County Hospital, where he passed away while receiving care.

It was after that event caused the Mp to disappear while the police officers are busy in hunt to know of his whereabout
