The Kibra Constituency verified presidential results shows that the ODM party leader Raila Odinga has shown his competitor a cloud of dust in the on going presidential tallying process. Kibra is one of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya strongest hold. But this time round the deputy president Dr. William Ruto has shaken the area. It was expected that Raila will clinch almost 90 % and above but Ruto has been a stack to him.
The following are the provisional results for Kibra constituency.
The Registered voters were 128,282, The Valid votes cast were 74,990 and the Rejected ballots were 460.
ODM Party leader Raila Odinga - 55,132 votes
UDA Party leader William Ruto - 19,337 votes
Agano Party leader Waihiga Mwaure- 200 votes.
Roots and Party leader George Wajackoyah - 291 votes.
Besides that, the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto addressed members of the public for the first time since Kenya's general election.
