Popular former presidential candidate, Mohammed Abduba Dida has gone public to defend the Cabinet Secretary for Treasury, Ambassador Ukur Yattani over the allegations by bloggers Cyprian Nyakundi and Robert Alai that one of his sons was arrested at the airport with 4 million US dollars.
Through his twitter handle, Mohammed Abduba Dida has noted that the amount in question is too huge that makes it easy to carry around by an individual.
He questioned the two bloggers whether they have a clear understanding of what Ksh four hundred million is.
"Do you have the slightest understanding of what Ksh 400,000,000 million is? That is not the kind of money that you just carry around easily," Dida tweeted.
He further added that the allegations by the two bloggers is not even possible in a movie adding that no individual will just put it in a bag and take it to an airport as they claim since it also requires a very big space.
"I doubt one person would just put it in a bag and take it to an airport. Even in a movie," he concluded.
His sentiments come hours after Ukur Yattani threatened to take the two bloggers to court for spreading lies against his innocent family.
