My Competitor Is Uhuru Kenyatta Not Raila, Dp Ruto Tells Observers.

With only 39 days till the August elections, the race has continued to pick up steam as politicians try their hardest to win the upcoming elections.

In a meeting with international observers today, William Ruto, the deputy president, seemed to have targeted President Uhuru Kenyatta with his criticisms. President Uhuru Kenyatta is the head of the Azimio coalition and is therefore his biggest rival in the upcoming elections, said Ruto while speaking to the observers.

In his statements, Ruto claimed that since Uhuru is the coalition's chair, he and Raila Odinga, the candidate for the Azimio party's presidential nomination, are one and the same. Because of Uhuru's backing, the Kenya Kwanza have begun referring to Raila Odinga as a state project.

The DP was anticipated to release his manifesto on the same day, kicking off the August election.
