Ruto promised roads, more schools including technical institutions, power connectivity, water sources, providing capital to small and medium size bunisseses among other things.
He drummed up support for the United Democratic Alliance party which he said is the only political ￼party in Kenya after jubilee was sold to ODM as scrap metal.
Ruto wondered how out of eight million Kenyans who voted for the jubilee government non of them is fit to lead this nation untill the government goes for the opposition leader.
Ruto's tour in the region also brought together rivals Ann Waiguru and Purity Ngiri I who have now promised to work together to strengthen UDA and popularise William Ruto's presidency within the region.
Ruto was accompanied by leaders mainly from the central region.However while giving out list of leaders who accompanied the second in command to it was evident that William Ruto reaped alot from tours.
Ruto received defectors including: Robert Gichimu of Gichugu constituency,Njogi Barua former mp of Gichugu, Daniel Karaba former Kirinyaga senator,Norman Nyaga former Kamukunji mp.
