The exposure of the offshore accounts linked to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family's wealth reported to be worth in billions of money which is in other countries has continued to raise speculations online with leaders who knows more about what it means by offshore account revealing more details.
Manyora has refuted claims that State officer have been mentioned to be having Pandora papers, according to him (Herman) the reason for setting up an offshore bank account is to avoid paying taxes.
He went ahead to explain that only state officers are affected and that president Uhuru Kenyatta is a state officer. According to him president Uhuru Kenyatta was not shown to have an offshore account.
According to him the correct answer is no. No one shown up the Offshore account linked to the president and his family. He stated that someone operating an offshore account must first show the source of their wealth and evidence of the same the Kenya Revenue Authority, KRA.
