It is a campaign season and every presidential aspirants is trying his or her best, to win the favor of the voters. In the recent past both the aspirants have been holding campaigns and rallies all over the country selling their motives to the people.
In all these areas, the former prime minister has been receiving warm welcoming. By show of residents turning up for his campaign rallies, may be Mount Kenya may soon become his political bed.
Also Raila before meeting the residents, he met with famous leaders from the region and this included most of the governors from this region. If Raila is to be endorsed by this governors it would be easy for him to grab the Mount Kenya votes effortlessly.
During one of his visits in the region, a young man surprised many by his charismatic act.This young man gifted Raila a pair of shoes and proceeded to congratulate him for being the uniting factor for Kenyans. In addition the young man said in order for Kenya to have a favourable environment for business, we needed leaders the likes of Raila.
