Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday took campaigns to Tharaka Nithi County.
Ruto's camp rubbished President Uhuru Kenyatta hours after he attached DP.
Azimio allies on the other hand rallied Siaya county to consolidate Raila's votes in his backyard. Raila urged them to make a 100 per cent turn out and vote him.
MP Junet Mohammed, while addresing Bondo residents, fearlessly responded to DP Ruto claiming that he will be jailed after the August election.
According to Junet, Ruto had no plan to fight against corruption. He rubbished some Kenya Kwanza allies terming them as corrupt.
" Ili wananchi wapate maendeleo lazima tuchague Raila Odinga. Leo nimesikia kwa gazeti eti Ruto atafunga Uhuru. Mimi nauliza nani anastahili kufungwa? Hata mtoto wa class 3 hapa Bondo anajua Ruto ni mwizi. Sikuji mambo ya Baba lakini Wajaluo wakiingia lazima Ruto aende ndani." Mp Junet said.
This loosely translates to, " For Kenya to develop we must elect Raila. Today I saw on newspaper that Ruto will jail Uhuru. Even a class 3 pupil here knows Ruto is corrupt. I don't know what Raila will do but when we wins, Ruto must go to jail."
