Uhuru Lead's DRC Peace Talks In Mombasa, Hosts M23 Chairman And DRC Representatives. (PHOTOS)
The former President Uhuru Kenyatta led the DRC Peace talks on Thursday in Mombasa where he met the M23 rebels chairman and the DRC government representatives and military leaders.
Uhuru Kenyatta is the facilitator of the East Africa Community (EAC) - Nairobi Process on peace and security in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as well as the AU-Kenya peace Envoy.
The M23 Chairman Mr. Bertand Bisimwa was in attendance.
According to the information shared from the meeting, the talks were centered around the settlement of the situation in the North Kivu.
