The head of state President William ruto is currently live from lamu where he is attending an interdenominational church service that brings together several local leaders and local residents who have strongly today's venue.
Head of state is in the company of two governors who included The Host governor for lamu Yasin Twaha and the governor for Mombasa County Abdulswamad who was elected on an Orange democratic movement ticket.
Nanok and Farouk Kibet in Lamu
Also accompanying the head of state is his deputy president together with his personal assistant Farouk kibet who has been accompanying him in recent days in almost all his events. Also present is the statehouse controller and former Governor Josephat Nanok.
This is the first a Prayer service that the head of state is holding in lamu County since he was sworn in as the president of the Republic of Kenya and is keen on ensuring that change and development is also achieved in the County.
