Deputy President William Ruto has arrived at the Bomas of Kenya where the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is set to announce the winner of the Presidential race.
By 4pm, he was being hosted at the Bomas of Kenya Very Important Persons lounge awaiting for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to clear him to get access to the auditorium.
In the lounge, he was together with his wife Mama Rachel Ruto as well as the Kenya Kwanza presidential running mate and former Mathira constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Rigathi Gachagua.
Rachel and her family were all in smiles, and she walked behind her husband as she held hands with adopted daughter Nadia Cherono. They wore yellow and white as mother and child looked stunning as they walked together, looking adorable.
Ruto wore a blue suit, and the president-elect looked dazzling as he walked into the function to await the results.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has said it will officially announce the final presidential election results at 4pm on Monday 15 August, 2022.
