Recently, DP Ruto filed a case in a bid to save his multi-billion Weston Hotel from being demolished by National Land Commission (NLC) and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).
The lawyer representing National Land Commission, who wants the Weston Hotel to be demolished is DP Ruto's ally and Murang'a Senator Irungu Kang'ata.
According to the case heard by NLC today, which is represented by Irungu Kang'ata, Weston Hotel has a space to appeal the decision to hear in court, a petition by KCAA to demolish Weston Hotel.

Senior Lawyer Ahmednasir is the one representing DP Ruto on the case and argued that NLC should have set in first and challenge the ruling of Justice Eboso on grounds if he has powers to determine the case or not.

According to NLC, the land on which DP Ruto's Weston Hotel sits was grabbed and it is the government's property. Dp Ruto however argues that he bought it from a legal seller.
The presence of lawyer Irungu Kang'ata representing NLC, which wants Weston Hotel only tells that hells the truth of the phrase, 'money moves.
