Today, there was drama in Nyamira when a woman came to the podium and knelt Infront of the Cabinet Secretary for Interior Security, Dr. Fred Matiangi. The CS was officiating a funds drive towards the construction of a local SDA Church in Nyamira west.

Drama came later on in the event when one unidentified woman found her way to Matiangi's feet and knelt Infront of him. It is not yet clear the motive or intent of the woman was but she did do something quite unexpected.

Kneeling Infront of someone, especially someone as powerful as he, could be seen as some kind of veneration which should not happen in a church. Matiangi looked to ignore her but given the gravity of the situation, he intervened and the woman was able to resume her place in the crowd.
