William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza is getting stronger each day since being declared winners of the presidential race. Various groups including Teachers' unions, KUPPET and KNUT that backed Raila Odinga have joined the Deputy President's team.
And barely some four days after announcement by Wafula Chebukati, William Ruto have received another important governor from Meru county. Meru governor elect Kawira Mwangaza who won Meru gubernatorial race as Independent candidate have joined William Ruto's team. Upon joining the team, Ruto send gratitudes to the governor elect. "Thank you for choosing to work with Kenya Kwanza to drive Meru and Kenya forward," President elect William Ruto said.
Given this case, Ruto's Kenya Kwanza is set to control the board of governors in the country. This comes just hours after ten independent members of parliament joined the team to control the national assembly. Ruto is now setting the base for the governance of the nation.
