The electoral commission IEBC is on a tight schedule to meet the expectation of the nation on the 2022 elections results announcement. At the National Tallying Centre IEBC has begun releasing the officials presidential results from the 290 constituencies. The verification of forms 34A and 34B has began before they are officially approved and entered in form 34C. In the latest provisional presidential results the race is tight between Raila Odinga and William Ruto.
IEBC portal has been updating with the forms 34B which show the final results tallied at the respective Constituency Tallying Centres. As at 9.30pm 147 out of 291 forms 34B which is 50.5% had been posted. 291 includes Diaspora as a constituency. However on the latest presidential results delivered by the Nation Africa William Ruto is still leading with 6,682,449 votes and this is equivalent to 50.14%, his closest competitor Raila Odinga is closing the gap by garnering 6,553,618 votes and this is 49.18% of the total votes tallied, Wajackoyah is third with 59,129 votes and David Waihiga has 31,151 votes which is at least 0.23 percent of the votes.
