Just in: Top Kenya Kwanza Leader Arrested in Polling Station, More Details Revealed

It is finally the day when Kenyans are expected to make their way in large numbers to the polling stations in order to cast their votes for the many candidates that they anticipate electing into government in order to affect their future over the following five years.

However, an unanticipated event took place at a voting station in the Ikolomani constituency of Kakamega county, where a vociferous political leader from the Kenya Kwanza coalition was arrested.

At one of the polling locations, Mr. Hamisi Butichi, a candidate for the Amani National Congress (ANC) party to represent the Ikolomani constituency as a member of the Parliament, was arrested.

It was stated that machetes and other primitive weapons, which are not permitted to be at the polling place, were discovered in his hands. He was taken into custody quite quickly, and the police have already confirmed his arrest and what he was found with.
