Raila Odinga yesterday met with Kikuyu council of elders led by their leader Wachira Kiago to rally his support for 2022 General elections.Moses Kajwang' Homabay senator, James Nyikal MP Seme and Migori women representative Pamela Odhiambo also attended the meeting,Jeremiah Kioni Ndaragua MP was accompanied by former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth. ODM leader Raila Odinga said that politics was the topic of the meeting and he enjoyed thoughtful discussions with Kikuyu members. Both Ruto and Raila are scrambling to get Mt Kenya region votes come 2022 General elections. Ruto today is expected to meet MPs at Masai Mara game park to talk about economic issues. He will be with economic partners and businessmen from the central region. The meeting may also result to demands for DP if he will succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
