Kenyans have reacted to Kanini Kega's late-night message taking a swipe at the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission over their move to clear more than forty independent Presidential Candidates ahead of the upcoming general elections in August.
Through his social media page, the Kieni member of Parliament Kanini Kega cited that the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission can't clear jokers to run for President. He said that the real battle is between Capital R and Small r, allegedly implying Raila Odinga and William Ruto.
"IEBC you can't clear jokers to run as presidential candidates! You know the consequences! The real battle is between the big R and the small r.." Kanini Kega cited.
Kenyans have however expressed different opinions over these remarks from Kanini, some citing that the Capital R stands for Ruto while Small r stands for Raila, while the handsome opined the other way. However, some concurred with Kanini Kega that a large number of independent candidates are jokers citing that they are paid to confuse voters.
