Kenyans today went to their polling stations to choose their leaders who will lead them in the next five years. What many Kenyans are interested in is the presidential race whereby four candidates were battling it out. The front runners were the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga who is the leader of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya and Deputy President William Samoei Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
The voting exercise came to an end at exactly 5:00 Pm in most areas with some extensions due to long lines. Counting is going on and provisional results have started streaming in.
In my opinion, let all Kenyans embrace peace as they wait for the official results. Remember we need each other after the electioneering period.
