President Kenyatta's Remarks to Chinese as he Left Nairobi Expressway Under Tight Security(Video

President Kenyatta today accompanied by high ranking government officials including Cabinet Secretary for Transport, James Macharia commissioned the the 27.1km Nairobi Expressway.

PresIdent Kenyatta was happy with the speedy development of the project which was planned to take a period of 3 years to build but only took 18 months to be finalized.

"Hongera to all who made this masterpiece a success and for the government and the people of Kenya for having confidence in our infrastructure projects." President Kenyatta said.

The president detailed how the project since it's trial begun has impacted positively on the tourism, manufacturing sector and hospitality thereby creating jobs and opening up investing opportunities in the region.

While leaving the Nairobi Expressway after commissioning it and under tight security, President Kenyatta while inside his car was heard telling the Chinese "well done" for their meticulous job.
