REVEALED: Reasons Why Uhuru is Not Attending Raila's Campaigns Lately

Kenya's president, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, is a strong supporter of opposition leader Raila Odinga.

When the azimio one Kenya alliance was created in March of this year, Uhuru was expected to go all out to promote his favored candidate.

Nonetheless, based on accounts from his closest associates and his previous actions, that has never happened and is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Except for a few of his cabinet secretaries, the president was strangely absent from the KICC announcement of azimio running partner Martha Karua.

The president has just taken a tactical retreat, according to jubilee vice chairman David Murathe, to allow the azimio contender to conduct his campaign.

"Uhuru has started the process, and everything is in place, but the president will not be campaigning on the ground.

His absence from the announcement of azimio's running companion has nothing to do with concerns in the city. However, it was calculated that the aspirant would run his campaigns." He stated the obvious yesterday.

He claimed that after unleashing the jubilee apparatus, the president will be running the event from behind the scenes.

However, Kieni MP Kanini Kega stated that the president will begin campaigning for the azimio candidate at the appropriate time.

Uhuru's advisers, according to other sources close to the presidency, are not keen on dragging him into dirty campaigns ahead of his retirement.
