Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga was in Nyamira county yesterday to drum up support for his 2022 presidential ambition. The opposition leader was accompanied by 3 Cabinet secretaries and members of Parliament including Junet Mohamed. The speech made by Junet caught the attention of the most of the Central kenya region people.
Junet Mohamed said that the Central Kenya region people have held the Government for the last twenty years and that they should not be worried when the people from the Nyanza region take over the government. He told off the Cabinet secretary for Health that he should not feel annoyed and thus they should allow the Nyanza region people to own the next government. He said that the Health Cabinet secretary and his brigade will be coming to the region as visitors since the Nyanza people will own the government.
These statements might cause trouble for Raila's quest for Central Kenya region votes. This is because such statements hints what the Nyanza region people will do once the former Prime Minister wins the election come 2022.
