Karua's Responds Moments After Raila Rejected The Elected President

Yesterday, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati declared DP Ruto the fifth president. And today, the opposition party was in disagreement with the outcomes thus, he addressed the public today about the results.

The One Kenya presidential running mate Martha Karua has responded to Raila Odinga on social media a few hours after rejecting IEBC's final tally. Karua via her verified Twitter account assured Raila that they will collaborate in seeking legal options to nullify United Democratic Alliance leader William Ruto's victory.

She said that the constitution was clear on how IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati should conduct his role in the commission.

"The Constitution and our laws are clear about how the IEBC should conduct its business and the role of the Chairperson of the IEBC in delivering credible elections. As such, we will be pursuing all constitutional and legal options available to us." Karua said.

Raila argued that the IEBC at the time of announcing the winner of the presidential vote lacked a quorum. He went on to accuse Chebukati of denying other commissioners access to the results before making them public.
