Holders of Fake Academic Certificates Put on Notice by Government as January 31st Deadline Announced

The government has been faced by an influx of many employees who possess fake academic qualifications as per the reports that we have with us this evening.

The Kisii County Government led by Governor Simba Arati, a few months ago decided to go after those that possess fake academic qualifications in the county.

The move was welcome as well as rebuked by many who felt like the Governor was targeting specific individuals in his cleaning of the county.

This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the Public Service Commission, the ministries will have to do an audit of all their employees by January 31st of 2023.

This is in a bid to flush out any elements in the government that might have been recruited with fake certificates which have been very rampant in the country.

The Public Service Commission Chairperson Anthony Muchiri has this afternoon written to all the government ministries to audit their employees’ academic certificates

The Public Service Commission Chairperson who is known as Anthony Muchiri has said that this should be done by the ministries by January 31st.

The Public Service Commission Chairperson Anthony Muchiri has also ordered that all the people that will be found with fake academic certificates should face the sack.

It's unclear as to how this move was reached but it his highly welcome to rid the government of rogue elements and pave way for people with the right qualifications to be employed.
