Moses Kuria Wins Big As Popular Meru Party Withdraws From Polls, Supports His Candidate

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is has been a handed a major boost after his candidate was endorsed by NOPEU Party.

According to Moses Kuria, NOPEU Party has withdrawn their candidate from the mini-polls and endorsed Mwenda Kabobo who has been fronted by his Chama Cha Kazi party.

He took to his Facebook page to make the revelations and also pass a message of gratitude to the party for the kind gesture.

"I wish to take this opportunity to thank my soul mate Hon Mpuru Aburi and the NOPEU Party for withdrawing their candidate in the Kiagu By-Election Mwenda Nchamba and vowing to support the Chama Cha Kazi Candidate Hon Milton Mwenda Kabobo," Moses Kuria wrote on Facebook.

Kuria is facing an uphill task of clinching the seat given that UDA party is in the race.

Kuria refused to fold his party and joining UDA saying the Mt Kenya region needs a party that they will identify with going forward .
