Deputy President William Ruto has chastised his political opponents for attempting to guide and lecture him on how to carry out his duties as the nation's DP.
The second-in-command has stated that no one should dare to teach him how to carry out his duties to Kenyans, warning those in the opposition to stay out of his hair because they lack the 'moral authority' to do so.
Speaking at a political rally in Kabarnet Sports Ground in Baringo on Sunday, DP Ruto reiterated that the Jubilee government is solely a collaboration between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta and that its agenda is unknown to them.
"Nimeskia watu wanajaribu kuilecture kuhusu mambo ya naibu wa rais wa Kenya nataka niwaambie nyinyi watu mliokuwa upande wa upinzani. Hamna ruhusa yoyote, hamna moral authority yoyote kunipatia lecture kuhusu naibu wa rais wa Kenya. Hii mpango ya serikali ya Jubilee ni muungano kati ya Rais Uhuru Kenyatta na mimi," said DP Ruto.
"You have no business on giving me a lecture on a government that I formed with Uhuru Kenyatta you were not there and you know nothing about this government. You know nothing on the agenda of this government," he added.
DP Ruto further stepped up his criticism of opposition leaders who later joined the Jubilee government accusing them of being behind the government's shortcomings like the KEMSA scandal.
