Today, Azimio allied Governor Fernandes Barasa for Kakamega County paid a visit to State House where he met with President William Samoei Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua. He was accompanied by Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale and Mala a constituency member of parliament Mululu Injendi.

Taking to his Twitter account, the governor said that he met the president ahead of his Presidential working visit to Kakamega County this week where he is set launch several projects in the region. Governor Fernandes is serving his first term in office after he won the August much contested gubernatorial race through Azimio ticket.
The President and his Deputy have been traversing several counties launching government projects.
