The coalition between Amani National Congress party of Kenya and United democratic alliance party has opened a discussion in the Western region. Cleophas Malala and Boni Khalwale are now in a discussion on what position to vie for ahead of the 2022 general elections. The two were eyeing the Kakamega Gubernatorial seat as first time governors and they now need to consider this as they are currently political friends.
The two parties have now agreed that one of them is going to view as a governor while the other will vie as a senator. The path is now clear that they both have to make sacrifices inorder to keep their political career growing.
Victor Munyaka has commended the two guys who have agreed to shelve their ambitions for a moment to ensure Kenya works for everyone. He was keen to note that this kind of political maturity is worth emulating as it brings sanity in politics.
