Alice Wahome a strong supporter of the deputy president has taken a purge at the president by giving unexpected remarks to the president Uhuru Kenyatta. While speaking at Kahiga primary school, the lawmaker said that Uhuru Kenyatta should leave Kenyans to choose for themselves on matters BBI and their preferred presidential candidate in 2022 general elections.
The lawmaker continued and said that the president is dividing the people of Mt Kenya. She argued that Uhuru Kenyatta is currently supporting The ODM leader Raila Odinga and according to her the president is causing confusion among the jubilee party members. She expected the president to be supporting Doctor William Ruto for his 2022 presidential bid. On matters BBI, she wondered why the funds for the referendum could not be channeled to hospitals, education, roads and other sectors. According to her the BBI bill proposal will have an uphill task in the Mt Kenya region.
A tweet message elaborates further on the lawmaker’s views and remarks concerning Mt Kenya and President Uhuru Kenyatta. The message read:” Those lobbying for the BBI will have an uphill task, the Tangatanga leader claims “The message read.
