Winnie has in an interview disclosed that currently going by the campaigns and push to have their father become the next President of the Republic, they have been faced with a lot of struggles as a family explaining that they have withheld some of the things they were used to as a family to concentrate on her father's campaigns.
Winnie has explained that together with their dad Raila Odinga, they were used to spending most of the Sundays having lunch as a family and attending church together, but campaigns for his Presidency have snatched everything they used to enjoy together.
The Daughter of the former Prime Minister has said that they spend most of their time in campaigns.
"Being Raila’s daughter is nothing special as I am just any other member of the community. Now our family doesn’t have Sunday lunch or go to church together but instead, we go to campaign,” Winnie Odinga has said.
