Deputy President (Dp) Dr. William Samoei Ruto's powerful ally, Mr. Musalia Mudavadi, the leader of the Amani National Congress (ANC), has slammed the government's handling of the on-going country's fuel crisis.

Mr Mudavadi, while speaking on KBC Radio Taifa, has said it defies the logic that Kenya lacks fuel while neighboring landlocked countries like Uganda do have fuel.

"We've seen people forming lines to get gas at gas stations. When was the last time you saw something like this? When we had price control in the 1990s, it happened last. Uganda, our neighbor, has fuel throughout the country, but it is transported through Kenyan pipelines. The government then claims that there is a petrol shortage. "What exactly is it?" Mr Mudavadi was perplexed.

The party leader, has also criticized the government's recent arrangements of issuing a fertiliser subsidy, claiming that the subsidy would benefit only a few farmers, and not the entire Kenyan Farmers.
