The recent speech by governor Ann Waiguru has stirred different opinions from Kenyans. The governor hinted on her possible political twist that would see her join UDA.During her speech, governor Ann claimed that she would do what the Kirinyaga residents will prefer.
She added that she managed to retain her seat despite the political waves that aimed at impeaching her.She says that she survived by the grace of God.She praised the political leaders who acknowledge God during her address.
However, Kenyans are now suspicious of the political game that could be hidden behind the curtains. They suspect that Governor Ann is aiming to vie for her seat using the UDA ticket while Martha Karua is alleged to be eying the deputy president's position in the next year's general elections.Martha Karua was recently crowned as the Mt Kenya spokesperson by a group of selected leaders from the region. If the suspicion is true, it could be a big win for the deputy president during next year's elections. However, it is also a big blow to other prominent leaders hoping that Ruto will select them as his deputy.Kindly share your views.
