At the moment, Deputy President William Ruto is the second most powerful leader in the country only behind President Uhuru Kenyatta but as things seem to be, Ruto is not contended by that alone. He wants to move a step further and become the most powerful leader in the country not behind anyone.
For that reason, DP William Ruto has been campaigning tirelessly in recent months. He has been going around the nation popularizing himself by giving thousands of promises and today, Kenyans were left talking after his top ally Aden Duale's remarks.
While speaking to Citizen TV, Aden Duale told Kenyans what DP William Ruto will do for them once he takes over power in 2022. According to Duale, Ruto will allocate Ksh. 50 billion to the 290 constituencies for empowerment programmes.
"A handout is when I give you money for free, empowerment is a totally different thing… When we form gov’t there will be Ksh.50B that will be allocated to all the 290 constituencies." Said Aden Duale.
