United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leader William Ruto, ANC chair Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya chair Moses Masika Wetangula landed at Nakuru show ground in style. This was their first time to appear in public since the three parties promised to work together towards the August 9th General Election.
Elgeyo Marakwet senetor Kipchumba Murkomen has promised to fight for the actualization of a section of the bill. He promised to push for the increase of resources allocated to the counties to at least 35%.
Before the court nullified the whole process, the Senators unanimously upheld the bill. Murkomen has criticized the BBI brigades not to take a U turn on when it comes to voting for the division of revenue bill this year.
He stated that supporters of BBI have no option on supporting the bill otherwise it will be ironical."Sisi tukiwa senate, tukiongozwa na senetor Weta, tumesema division of revenue bill ya mwaka huu, sio ya BBI, sio mwaka kesho, sio promises ya BBI, mwaka huu, tunataka tutoe pesa 35% ikuje kwa counties". He promised.
