On Friday January 21, William Ruto visited West Pokot in his campaign to mobilize more voters.While in West Pokot, William Ruto was warmly welcomed by many politicians and residents in the region.There were many supporters in the rally which is a sign that the deputy president will have many voters in the August general elections incase they all vote.
The deputy president emphasized on his bottom up economic model where he promised to provide jobs to the unemployed youths.He also promised do more developments in the region such as developing infrastructure and more technical colleges.
Following the big crowd that was witnessed in the William Rutos' West Pokot rally,the Azimio La Umoja Movement member,Ngunjiri Wambugu stated, 'kila mtu ako na watu wengi,it's other things that will count.'The Member of Parliament stated that William Ruto has many supporters just like any other presidential candidate.
