The former Prime minister Raila Odinga is the most covered presidential candidate by the media among the four candidates for the same seat. The ODM leader Raila Odinga usually receives a coverage of 61.24 per cent across different media houses in the country. This is almost double as compared to his closest competitor Dr William Ruto who is the second and receives a coverage of 38.20 per cent.
The Roots and party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has recently rose to popularity and now has media coverage of 0.54 per cent. The presidential candidate that receives less media coverage is David Mwaure who receives about 0.02 per cent of coverage across the country.
The Azimio la Umoja coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga receives much coverage due to a variety of reasons. The main one being that the media owners and houses are behind his presidential bid. Most of them support Raila ambition to be the 5th president.
