As 2022 draws closer, political players are warming up for a fierce battle to control the country. 2022 might see some of the biggest names in the political arena fell as new realignments take shape. So far Ruto has revealed that he will go solo whereas the One Kenya Alliance has continued to insist that they are the alternative.
Big names in the Senate have indicated that they are going for the top seat a move that might jeopardize the chances of first-time governors being elected back to the office. Those serving their second term are keen on ensuring that they influence the outcome of the next election while they aim to make their presence felt at the national level.
The majority of those in parliament might be forced to seek alternative parties which have got influence in their respective areas. So far the key political parties have started asking aspirants to register for the different available positions in the country.
