Meru governor, Mwangaza Kawira has been on the media pages for quite some time now. It all started with her dramatic and almost unexpectedly win over former governor, Kiraitu Murugi. Many are the people who never saw the seasoned Murugi being defeated by Kawira but it happened.
Then came in her husband who virtually never leaves her side. If they are not seem together as he plays his guitar to her and singing her songs, then they are vacationing together or attending to some other errands together. So strong is their bond that Kawira sourced him a job in the county offices.
But Kawira has not been in good terms with her county Members of Assembly, MCAs. They crossed paths shortly she was elected to office and as we speak, a vast majority of them is baying for her impeachment.
But is a new Twist of events, Kawira has gone public, together with her team to apologize to the MCAs. In a post by Tuko news, it is alleged that the team said the word "sorry" 70 times to the MCAs. Although some took her guesture positively, others bashed her, saying pride comes before fall while others said she needs to apologize more as seen on the screenshots below.
