Charity Kaluki Ngilu is a Kenyan politician and the second governor elected for Kitui County. She unsuccessfully vied to be President of the Republic of Kenya in 1997. She served as Minister for Health from 2003 until 2007 and Minister of Water and Irrigation from April 2008 to 2013. She was born on 28 January 1952 in Machakos County, Kenya.
Governor Charity Ngilu made a stopover at Machakos County enroute her way to her County bringing Machakos town on a standstill. She was unveiling her new project about Kitui Livestock Carriers that has really touched the hearts oh many.
