Susan Kihika the Nakuru County senator has strongly condemned the setting of a Pre-BBI meeting on Thursday this week saying it was set on parliamentary and she would not be able to attend as would be in parliament.
She has further gone to claim that an invite was sent to her by one James Mungai who according to her has no mandate to use a county letter head to address her since such powers only belong to the governor.
According to her, this is a show of disrespect to her office because she has a right to attend the BBI pre meeting. “You may not like me but I am the senator for five years and you must respect my office.”

The Nakuru senator had last month vowed to set a parallel BBI meeting claiming that this initiative would only bring more division than unity but the plan seems to have changed as she promised to meet with the county leadership and the parliamentarians to plan the BBI Rally. She has promised her support in ongoing BBI rallies in country.
In her speech to the press Kihika called on leaders to maintain peace in the county as Nakuru is a cosmopolitan town. “ We will not allow anybody come and destabilize the peace that we have been enjoying in the county.”
