ODM MP Oppose Law To Have Minister Appearing In Parliament For Grilling, Claim It Is Unlawful

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party elected member of parliament has shown early signs to oppose law to have ministers appearing in Parliament, claims it is unlawful.

Appearing for an interview with source in a morning show on Friday, Bumula Constituency Member of Parliament Jack Wamboka said it is not possible in law to have ministers come to the floor of the house.

He says it is against the law, unless ruling coalition want to lead a change in the Constitution. To him, the push is an attempt to introduce BBI back door.

"I do not think it is possible in law to have ministers come to the floor of the house. They are just trying to reintroduce BBI through back door." Jack Wamboka stated.

During his speech at official opening of 13th Parliament, President William Ruto asked the legislators to move with speed, and pass a law allowing Cabinet Secretaries coming in floor of National Assembly for grilling.
