Big Win For Azimio As Court Makes a Ruling Concerning The Venezuelans Interference On Servers

On Tuesday ninth of August 2022, Kenyans who are registered voters came out in large numbers and exercised their democratic right through voting in leaders of their choices in different elective political positions as MCAs, MPs, Senators, Women Reps, Governors and in the Presidency position.

According to the Kenyans current constitution, those leaders who managed to secure their preferred political positions as mentioned above will rule in their different capacities for a period of five years before another general election is conducted.

In the Presidency race that was seen to be very tough between the former prime minister Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga of Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance and his counterpart the Kenya Kwanza Alliance flag bearer Honorable William Samoei Ruto was finally concluded with Ruto emerging the winner.

Ruto's win faced some challenges as the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance flag bearer Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga did not concede the defeat.

Odinga's Azimio headed to the Supreme Court of Kenya to challenge Ruto's victory though they did not manage to overturn Ruto's win as the Supreme Court Judges led by their boss Chief Justice Martha Koome upheld Ruto's win claiming that Azimio did not provide enough evidences that could be used to nullify Ruto's win.

The Supreme Court of Kenya yesterday shade light on how they did their ruling on the presidential petition that was before them.

In what is seen as big win for Odinga's Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance, the Supreme Court during this time in their rulings stated that none IEBC officials should be denied access to the servers. This a clear indication the Venezuelan Jose Camargo who was accused by the Azimio legal team during the hearing of interfering with the IEBC servers is completely locked out.

According to Odinga's legal team the, Venezuelan Jose Camargo accessed the IEBC servers and manipulated the figures in favor of President Ruto.

This was a huge win for Odinga's Azimio as they are now sure that non IEBC staff will no longer interfere with the electoral process using the servers as they claimed.
