Deputy President William Ruto's camp is receiving more members from different parties despite the ongoing political tension.
Ruto who has reinstated that he will be on the ballot in 2022 has been boosted after a hundred officials who were inclined to Isaac Ruto's Chama Cha Mashinani joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media, the officials stated that they had listened to the Bomet County residents, and made the decision to join Ruto's camp since his vision has reinstated with the ordinary citizen.
They added that they resolved to ditch CCM voluntarily, and will traverse the county drumming up support for Ruto's presidential bid.
Welcoming them to UDA, Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok stated that the officials will be registered in UDA, and assured the DP massive support in his 2022, adding that the county had accepted the Bottom-up economic model.
"As a people, we would wish to join the rest of the country as it rallies behind this wonderful political vehicle that seeks to address the plight of the hustlers once it takes over in 2022."
