Ivory Coast Prime Minister Dies at the Age of 61 Years

Ivory coast Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly died on Wednesday 8th of july 2020. The deseased underwent a heart surgery in 2012 and was battling the problem since the year until His final day. He seemed indisposed during a weekly cabinet meeting held in the country and He was finally taken to Hospital where he met his Demise. The 61 year old had come back from france where He was hopitalised to undergo thorough examination of His heart after two months.

"Fellow patriots, Ivory coast is mourning. It is with deep pain that I announce to you that prime minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly has left us." The secretary general for presidency read in a statement.

Ivory coast faced challanges in the Year 2010 when president Alassane Outtara got a win over Laurent Gbagbo which triggered a war making around 3,000 people lost their lives during the whole Inferno. The prime minister's death has left a vacuum in the rulling Party RHDP where president Outarra had endorsed Him as the candidate for the party in the coming October elections. This will set a clamber for position, giving the President a task to appoint another candidate. The whole tension accross the country upon the looming october elections is because of the Predicaments that was witnessed in the country in 2010.
