With the political campaigns in the republic Kenya in preparation for the hotly contested presidential polls prior August general elections several coalition have already declared their running mates.
Azimio la Umoja under the leadership of Raila Odinga a seasonal presidential candidate is the latest to announce their running mate just several hours after that of Kenya kwanza headed by William Samoei Ruto.
The choice of suitable running mate for both top coalitions of Azimio and Kenya kwanza had been a difficult task that was sensitive since a single mistake would have costed the entire quest for the top seat.
One of those affected by the whip was Prof. Kithure kindiki who doubles to be Tharaka Nithi senator and was highly anticipated to be announce William Ruto's running mate. The Legislator who was not present when Kenya Kwanza addressed the Media yesterday has now planned a press conference today, 16th May, this is according to Kass Fm post on their official twitter account.
It is not however clear on what William Ruto's ICC lawyer will say but it is speculated that he will adress burning issues including why he skipped the Kenya kwanza coalition declaration and the deputy president stalemate dilemma.
