Deputy President William Ruto has picked Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate while Raila Odinga has picked Martha Karua.Karua is however expected to give Gachagua a run for his money in getting the votes in central Kenya.The iron lady has visited ten counties in ten days with numerous rallies at different places.Yesterday,she was in Nakuru county.DP Ruto was in Narok as his running mate Rigathi Gachagua was is Nandi county.
While in Narok,Ruto revisited the Mau settlement and the land tussle in the region.At the moment,both Ruto and Raila Odinga have began making promises to do with lands in the country.Odinga has even allocated the Ministry to Hassan Joho in order to settle the squatters.Newspapers are now full of the land promises.

Ruto has said that his Government will buy idle lands from the owners and settle the squatters in different region.In Narok county,Ruto has promised to buy the 75,000 Acre Kedong' ranch which is privately owned and is linked to Kenyatta family to settle the Maasai community.
