Matiangi Overthrows the Constitution, Oders Non Residents in Laikipia to Vacate Immediately

It's clear according to the Kenyan constitution everybody has a right to live in a place of their choice. We also have right to movement hence the actions of the Cabinet Secretary cannot be tolerated but can only be termed an overthrow of the constitution.

Matiangi has made it clear that non locals in Laikipia must vacate immediately. This is something really very unfortunate if we observed the law as its clear such is the constitution of the yester years but not the 2010 constitution which allows people to live anywhere in the country.

Matiangi actions to ask all the non residents of Laikipia to vacate is something that must be condemned as it means Overthrowing the constitution. It's something that has left people in shock of the turn of events in Laikipia such that people who are Kenyans can be chased.

Is the government really fighting insecurity by chasing non locals from the county? Only time will tell. As of now however is that if you are not a local residents of Laikipia by birth you are required to vacate before you face the wrath of the government machineries.
